SLAC/ATLAS TDAQ Meeting, 25 Jan 2007 Present: Amedeo, Su Dong, Andy, Sarah (phone), Stephen (phone), Rainer Sarah: Basic (very basic) partition on one node is working. All the infrastructure there with dummy L2/EF. 35 node dbstressor controller partition. Running with the setup on atl-tdaq02. Can click through all transitions. Modified the configure file and now will test. Biggest impediment right now is the slowness of the GUI over the Atlantic. Rainer asks if the GUI could be run locally. May have to tunnel connections because atl-tdaq is on IFZ. Stephen suggest using VNC. Will explore this with Steffen. Stephen: Talking to Simon and George about testing. Agreed to get rid of the old way of doing tests and move to regression tests (as inspired by BaBar). Some differences in two of the slices between optimization on and off (e-gamma and tau). All: SQLRelay: Hans asked to put something on it into the LST report. Plan on adding it to the Wiki page and the report. Start writing up a note on dbproxy. What about dbproxy serving pool files? Andy will help with that part now. Looking into xrootd protocol. Amedeo can focus on SQLRelay next. Next farm tests: ATLASDD and COOL dbs are there. We should be able to run with L2 and EF. Sarah would have to make the partitions for those. Will get a template from Haimo. We are using TDAQ-1.6.2. So certainly not behind. LST report is looming. No updates yet to that page. Sarah will send the link around. Want to have it finished by Feb 8.
