SLAC Apartments at CERN
We have two apartments near CERN:
- Apartment 1 is a 1-bedroom apartment in
St Genis-Pouilly.
- Apartment 2 is a 3-bedroom apartment, also in
St Genis-Pouilly.
The apartment signup is using Google Calendar for which you need to be brought
into the Google calendar group to access.
- Go to http://calendar.google.com, and create an account.
- Send yourID to Adrienne Higashi (ahigashi@slac.stanford.edu). You will be
invited to join the two calendars, one for each apartment.
- Follow the instructions in the notification email from Google Calendar.
Note on date/night convention
We need to adopt a convention of what it means to sign up for, say, June 21st.
I propose we follow what the hotel industry does, In this example,
it means that one has the room for the night between June 21st and June 22nd.
As another example, a sign-up for July 7th through July 17th means one arrives during the
day on July 7th and leaves during the day on July 18th. The first night is the night
between July 7th and July 8th, and the last night is
the night between July 17th and July 18th.
