The results of the control system operation for a linear resonance accelerator of intense electron beams are outlined. The problems of the computer failure diagnostics of the pulse electron linacs are discussed. The faults of modulator, klystron and HF-power supply system motivate considerable proportion of pulse electron linac failures. Generally signal amplitude dispersion increases under these conditions . In the paper failure prediction and diagnostics algorithms based on some indicating functions and usage of these algorithms in linac control systems are studied.
