An Alvaretz-type DTL, accelerating the proton beam from 3 to 50 MeV, is being constructed as the injector for the KEK/JAERI Joint Project for high-intensity proton accelerator facility. The following components have been developed for the DTL:(1) the cylindrical tank made by a copper electroforming method: (2) an rf contactor between the end plate and the tank cylinder and between the stem of the drift tubes and the tank: (3) a pulse excited quadrupole magnet with a hollow coil made by a copper electroforming method: (4) a switching-regulator type pulsed power supply for the quadrupole magnet.: (5) a magnetic field measurement system for the quadrupole magnet. All components described above have been assembled in the model tank for the high-power test. Measured properties of the components will be reported in this paper.
