Muon survival demands a high-gradint acceleration in muon collider and neutrino factory designs. Large transverse and longitudinal emittances of the muon beam coming from a muon cooling system requires a large acceptance, acceleration system. These two requirements point clearly to a linac based on superconducting technology. The design of a 2 GeV Superconducting Muon Linac based on group of computer programs developed at LANL will be presented.
