We are building a BNL/SLAC/UCLA type, S-band photocathode gun as a photoinjector to a 30 MeV electron linac for FEL applications. We present results of RF simulations using SUPERFISH and GDFIDL, which agree well with cold-test results. We also report results of beam dynamics simulations using PARMELA.
