V260 record documentation Carl Lionberger 7 July 98 Ai records are used for reading the scaler values; the board is assumed to be configured as 16 24-bit scalers. The VME board number [0-7] and selects the board and the signal number [0-15] selects the scaler. Bi records are used only for reading the inhibit status of the board. For each board [0-7], any of the signals [0-15] may be used in the vme io specification; all scalers on a module will have the same status. A 1 indicates an inhibited condition. Bo records are used for controlling the scaler module; each control operation effects all the scalers. The vme card parameter [0-7] selects the board, and the signal parameter [0-2] selects the function as follows: selects reset, 1 selects inhibit setting, and 2 selects incremention. Reset occurs when a one is written to a reset record; a one written to an inhibit record sets the inhibit bit and a zero resets it; a one written to an incremention record increments all scalers on the board.
