Use this form to request the creation of an mstore group directory for the purposes of setting up mstore group space. Before filling out this form, you should already have a UNIX account.

You will also need to collect some information before starting:

  • Your estimate of how much disk space you need.
  • The name of the group you wish to enable for mstore group space.

For large projects or situations where you know the disk space needs are going to grow substantially over time, please let us know of your plans in the "Planning Information" field. This helps us allocate the right kind of disk space for your needs, and helps us plan for future acquisitions of disk space.

Example:

  1. User Benton needs a directory for a new experimental group to store observational data. She puts the group name 'neutrino' in mount point (subdirectory) field. The directory created will be named /nfs/mstore/g/neutrino (/nfs/mstore/g is where all mstore group directories live).
