FAQ: How do I check whether my job left any locks?
Well, two things. If it's a batch job, don't even bother. Because you'll need to know the host and the pid of the job, which you don't always know or don't care. Besides, it's not recommended to do anything about locks in this case, should there be ones.
You need to clean up locks if any left after your job finished.
Typically, no locks should be left. If the job terminates abnormally, locks may be left.
Use the oocleanup utility to check whether there are any locks on your test federation:
oocleanup
