oocheckls
This utility checks whether lockserver is running on a specified host. The format of the command is the following:
oocheckls [hostname]
If hostname is omitted, local host is assumed. If you want to check lockserver of any federation, find out the host name from the boot file - look for the line starting with:
ooLockServerName=
The output of the command is as follows:
The Lock Server is running on 'objyserv03'.
or
The Lock Server is not running on 'objyserv03'.
