bdbcheckpud
bdbcheckpud checks whether pud daemon is running on a given machine.
Syntax
bdbcheckpud [-p portNr] [-m hostName] [-help] [-quiet] [-v]
Where:
-p portNr is pud's port number. Default is 3333
-m hostName Name of host running PUD. Default is current host
-help prints out a help message and exit
-quiet suppresses printing of default messages
