Purpose:
This workshop aimes to bring together theorists and experimentalists
working on the extraction of Vub, Vcb and
related quantities with the focus on understanding the involved
uncertainties. Physics topics covered by this include:
- b --> u l nu (incl.)
- b --> u l nu (excl.)
- b --> s gamma
- b --> c l nu (incl.)
- b --> c l nu (excl.)
Program:
The sessions will consist of few presentations with a lot of room for
discussions. The material presented should not be quoted outside the
workshop without the consent of the respective author.
Christian Bauer has kindly agreed to give a SLAC seminar on
Thursday, December 6th at 12:30 pm in the Panofsky Auditorium
on Vub and Vcb and this will
serve as an introduction to the workshop.
Everybody is invited to prepare one or two slides as contribution
to the discussion part in each session. Talks will be posted to the
BaBar internal web which is accessible by BaBar members only.
The format should be .pdf and/or .ps.gz. External
participants are encouraged to provide:
- CD-ROM with .pdf or .ps or .ps.gz file
- or external URI with .pdf or .ps or .ps.gz file
- or MS-DOS formated floppy disk with .pdf or .ps or .ps.gz file
- or just the transparencies and we'll scan them
The material should be provided in advance so that we have time
to arrange for scanning/copying of the files. In case of option
2 (URI) please send the URI to
menke@slac.stanford.edu.

A computer with projector as well as an overhead projector will be
available during the workshop. So computer based presentations need
not to be printed on transparencies.
