Rainer: please put instructions here. Hi, I just installed a lean version of my TSF playback tool in the public area under the directory: /afs/slac.stanford.edu/g/babar/detector/trg/playback There is a trivial shell script playback.sh that runs the executable on a given xtc file. By default it reports any damaged tsf segments (with invalid dAdr's, e.g. out-of-range or invalid board/superlayer/cell number combinations) and so on. By default it just prints an event count in case there was such damage. In this way it can be used as a quick check to see if there is any obvious garbage in a whole run. (Something that usually does not show up in the event display.) The printout can be increased via the tcl file to dump every segment in hex or text form with invalid numbers marked. I propose to add the framework module as a filter to Anders' event display to print out log messages for any crap that is not shown on the screen. -- Rainer
