Andreas Meyer 05/24/99 abmeyer@lbl.gov SHIFT INSTRUCTIONS FOR RUNNING GRADISPLAY ========================================= STARTING THE EVENTDISPLAY ========================= - Directory on any sun platform (preferably on percheron, shire01): cd $BFROOT/detector/trg/gradisplay/workdir source evdisenv.csh source evdistrick.csh (trickle stream) or source evdisfile.csh (playback from file) 1 Online-trickle stream: Defaults are: hostname = bbr-farm14 portnumber= 10071 The hostname is one of the machines that L3 is running on Usually: bbr-farm09 to bbr-farm__ Usually: port 10070 before the L3 filter and port 10071 after the L3 filter. 2 Non-default running with xtc-file Type: bin/SunOS5-Optimize/GraOepClient_990524 -f GraDisplay/GraOepClient.tcl_990524 'USING' IT ========== See also: http://prancer.physics.louisville.edu/GraTutorial/ Use pull-down menus and buttons to manually set up the view (Here are my recommended options.
