Level 3 Trigger Conceptual Design Review
and Preliminary Design Requirements Review
11 August 1997
This is the home page for the Level 3 CDR.
It serves as an index to all materials related to the CDR, and will become increasingly complete as the review date approaches. Following the review, it will remain frozen as a reference for the future.
The review will cover these main topical areas:
- Level 3-related elements of the Trigger Requirements
(Level 3 inherits all of the essential and many of the functional requirements on the trigger as a whole, and additionally has some essential and many functional requirements of its own);
- The conceptual design (a/k/a the Essential Model and System Block Diagrams);
- Level 3 interfaces; and
- Prototype work and R&D on specific Level 3 algorithms.
A design method explanation (draft) is available that explains somewhat the needed material for the CDR.
The Conceptual Design Review will take place on Monday 11 August 1997 at SLAC. The public sessions will take up approximately a half day, bracketed by committee sessions and a close-out. The review committee has been selected by Trigger electronics
management.
The public sessions will be held in the Orange Room, with closing executive sessions (after 15:00) in Training Center A&B.
