The design of the Drift Chamber Trigger has been reviewed in July, 1997. At this review, the Committee should consider whether testing of the prototype modules have demonstrated that the components are ready for fabrication of production units. The committee should investigate these areas: (1) the testing of the algorithms and other functions of the modules, (2) the testing of all internal and external interfaces, (3) any significant changes to the design since the last review, and, (4) the proposed plan for testing and validating the production units. The committee is expected to submit an informal 2-page report to the management by Wednesday August 12, 1998, after giving the Drift Chamber Trigger team an opportunity to make factual corrections or clarifications. Please include in the report _only_ your concerns and advice to the Drift Chamber Trigger group and BaBar management. If the committee divides up the tasks and each committe member writes a paragraph, the report should not be a lot larger than one page.
