Trigger Production (February, 1998)

The L1, L3 and Reco groups just finished a rerun of the 9607 production, the 9801 production, involving lots of CPU to make lost particle backgrounds. These will be used mainly by L3 and Reco.

Next Trigger-initiated production would be to use new lost particle rays from the TURTLE beam particle simulation run by the IR/PEP-II group, after they have a new model for LER as well as HER. This is unlikely to happen until the end of Spring 1998, given the LER schedule and currently progressing detailed work on understanding the HER measured backgrounds.
