Minutes of the Trigger Operation Meeting (August 29, 2006)

Attendees: Rainer Bartoldus, Al Eisner, Arik Kreisel, Selina Li, Dong Su, Mark Tibbetts, Dan Walker

EMT

  • Dan showed the instruction for changing the EMT prescale. It will be incorporated into the EMT web page and Mark will test it out.

DCT

  • Selina showed the TSF and ZPD transmission test for run 64100, one of the 3 physics runs with ZPD damage when the "final_test" version of the TSF firmware was used. Similar plots are also available for a cosmic run 64076 with ZPD damage taken that day. The crate damage monitoring plots indicated that the damage are in ZPD2, 3. There are dips seen in TSFX6,7 from the transmission plots. Su Dong suggested to compare them with a good run, and also look at damaged events only so the effect would be more dramatic.

L3

  • Arik is studying low Pt tracks.

Trickle Injection Monitoring

  • Al showed the trickle injection monitoring plots for HER and asked for suggestions on presentation. We need the ODF group to look at deadtime effect in these plots. There is a discussion of the motivation/purpose of these monitoring plots.
