The DIRC QA postscript plots are produced by the macro
DrcQaRootHists.cc
in the DrcOprMon
package. The macro takes as input the root file produced by the PC or ER
processing and produces DIRC postscript pages which are then merged with
the other system outputs to produce a single file for the run. Before 2005
and the 18 series, the OPR outputs were in hbook format and were processed
by the PAW macro
DrcOprMon.kumac
which is no more maintained.
The production of histograms allowing a monitoring of the DIRC reconstructed
data is defined in the
DrcOprMonitorSequence
which is activated centrally by the BaBar reconstruction framework.
The DIRC-specific postscript pages are described below. They all have the
same layout: the title at the top; then the plots and finally two boxes at
the bottom of the page: on the left the run number, on the right the prospec
number (release version + a two-digit number incremented if a run gets
reprocessed in the same release).
