BgsDchSim

Build the geometry for three different models;

Hit Production selecting the "layer" model ;

DchBgsModules

Fast tracking merging Dch and Svt hits ;

Output: reco-like track objects ;

Geometry

Retrieved from the dbio file dch.db used for bbsim.

Available models:

fast-cylinder :  simple cylindrical fast simulation .
cylinder :  Cylindrical volumes including the materials for the inner & outer walls, the rear & front plate.
layer  : Cylinder model + subdivision of the gas volume in 40 layers.

Hit structure

Geant4 tracks the particles in the DCH.

The particle crosses the layer surfaces; parameters associated to the intersection points are used to generate hits.

  • Changes from last simulation review

    • New HYPE volume implemented and inserted in the Geant4 release;
  • Volume tested in one stand alone example simulating the BaBar Dch geometry (40 Dch layers)

    Problems in the introduction of HYPE in Bogus (to be fixed).

    • New base class BgsTrkHit used to make Dch Hits (the same used for Svt)
  • Stored material of inner wall in one hit for the fast tracking in the downstream module.
