BaBar Prototype II Drift Chamber
1997 Operations

Introduction
Prototype II was operated in 1997 and 1998 in two different ways:
- Special-purpose pre-amplifier cards and rack-mounted TDC and FADC
modules
- Pre-production versions of the BaBar ELEFANT chips
This directory contains descriptions of the data taken in both
configuration, along with results and pictures. These files were moved here
from the main Prototype II Web area to make room for new
documentation and results.
- Run 1437
- Sense voltage at 2020, discriminator threshold at 180mV;
- minimum resolution of 90mu, average resolution of 124mu,
- plotted as a function of drift
distance
- Run 1438
- Sense voltage at 1960, discriminator threshold at 180mV; minimum
- resolution of 95mu, average resolution of 131mu,
- plotted as a function of drift
distance
