Please read the Shift Duties Web page before your
first shift, and check it periodically in case things have changed.
The Summary of Current Problems is somewhat out
of date.
Shift Plan
There are a shift calendar and a list of potential shift takers. Shifts are assigned
for one week at at time, starting every Wednesday at 8:00 am (day shift).
Volunteers are highly welcome. Available shifts will be filled as
requested by shift volunteers first, and then assigned according each
DCH-participating institution's quota.
Drift Chamber QA shifts do not count toward the "BaBar
Common Service" quota. Shifters are expected to check the monitoring plots
and strip charts for all runs processed in the previous 24 hours, every day,
to mark the DCH data quality flags appropriately, and to check the offline
monitoring histograms for new problems.
