Restart of the gas system
(updated Oct 2nd 2003)
Panel to restart the gas system
This panel allows a normal user to look at the progress of the restart
machine (if a restart has begun). The super-user can use this panel to
restart the gas system. See
/BFROOT/www/Detector/CentralTracker/controls/gas/index.html
for more details.
Push to restart: click here to start the state machine which
will try to restart the gas system. This button doesn't work DURING
RUNNING MODE.
Push to cancel:you can click at any time on this button to
cancel the state machine. The system will then return in rest mode.
Progress: you can see here the progression of the restart, from
0 to 100%.
Status:
this gives the status of the restart. Three types of messages are
possible: "Trying to restart", "Restart completed" and "Unable to
restart. Call experts.".
Gas system status:
this gives the status of the gas system. Green for OK, red for alarm.
Set mode:
this button leads to the panel to toggle between the 2 different
modes: automatic or manual. See below for details.
Panel to set the mode
This panel allows the super-user to toggle between the 2 modes: manual
or automatic. In manual mode, the gas system is restarted by a click
on the previous panel. In automatic mode, a state machine is looping
waiting for alarms. If an alarm occurs, then the gas system tries to
restart itself. However, in this mode, it's still possible to restart manually.
Button: to toggle between the 2 modes (super-user only).
