      FAQ

Chiller parameters on the chiller panel are all screwed up! What to do?

  • First, check to make sure the cables are plugged in correctly. GMB is in the same crate as emc-mon and labeled. The connector to look for is a DB-25 (bottom connector). Chiller side is a DB-9 that plugs into a side of the power box.
  • Make sure the GMB is functioning correctly. The lights on the GMB should blink every 10 seconds or so.
  • Lastly, restart the chiller. This is obviously not a desired thing to do, so PLEASE make sure you've exhausted all other means.
  • Spare chiller flow rate fluctuating:

  • There is nothing wrong with the meter. This happens when the valve is not open all the way. This chiller has shown some instabilities in flow rate at the beginning.
