Program Timing
Read
Code Profiling and Performance Measurement
, a presentation given by Jim Panetta at the Forum meeting on 8 February 2000.
You can obtain timing information at several levels of details.
Use the
CpuCheck module
to get total CPU time for event.
Use the
SumTimeAction action
to get the average time by module. The begin and end job times are also reported.
Use
Sun Workshop
to get timing at the source code line level.
