Introduction

  •

The aim of the QaRecoTools is to analyze the reconstruction output and produce a comprehensive summary of its performances. The current version contains three parts:
the first one consists to analyze the distributions by making fits with 1 or 2 gaussians and
also with specific function. Then, the package go through the comparison with the
reference data. Finally, if the comparison shows any disagreement with the reference an
auotmatic e-mail is sent to the QA team and the package coordinator.

The present version of the QaRecoTools is preliminary. It uses as input the file reco_vVersionNumber_RunNumber.hbook (e.g. reco_v4.3.9a_041617.hbook) produced at the end of the reconstruction run. Presently the reco_vVersionNumber_RunNumber.hbookfile (reco. v4.3.9a) contains 14 ntuples and 9 histogram directories with a total of about 200 histograms. Only part of these histograms are analyzed, some need to be updated others to be removed.

QaRecoTools analyzes the following directories and histograms:

QaRecoTools produces 2 postscript files. One is a summary and comparison table (QaReco_summary_rVersionNumber_RunNumber.ps) of the fitted distributions and the other (QaReco_plot_rVersionNumber_RunNumber.ps) contains plots of the fitted ditributions.
