Documentation of Appmodule QaBetaTools/QaDFinder

$Id: QaDFinder.html,v 1.2 1998/05/31 00:59:36 dyaeb Exp $

Benchmark

  • Original Authors S. Plaszczynski and M.H Schune. It reconstructs the following modes : D0->KPi, D0->K PiPi and D0->K PiPi Pi0 where D0 comes from D*->D0Pi
  • runs 046418 and 046426---29 (MDC1) -- 5 x 2k generic BBbar events

Input

  • three BtaCandidate lists from the event, "DFPionCandidates", "DFKaonCandidates" and "calorCandidates".
  • the defaults for the parameters are set to "PiDefault", "KDefault" and "CalorObjects", so default particle ID is being used

Method

  • make a list of pi0 candidates from the calorCandidates
  • combine the kaon, pion and pi0 lists to make a list of D* -> D0 pi candidates
  • fill an ntuple of D* candidates
  • MC truth is not used

Output

  • QaDFinder_plot_RELEASE.ps shows D* - D mass difference and "D" mass histograms cut on the mass difference for each mode.
