General Information about QA

OPR QA

Organisation
The OPR QA process is provided by a set of scripts contained in the OprQaUtils package. The scripts are executed as part of the OPR production job at the end of OPR processing for every run. The output of OPR QA is a postscript file and a logfile of plots and fits for each run. These are made available to subsystem experts via a central webpage.

The current list of subsystem experts for OPR QA.

Production
Documentation
  • OprQaUtils - actively maintained online documentation.

  • Stripcharts - documentation on how to produce them.

There are two BaBar Notes by Frederic Brochu describing the Opr-QA system as of Jan 02. This system has now been superceded, but notes are good for general background info on Opr-QA:
  • BaBar Note 541 original document describing the Opr-QA system (last updated Jan 02).
  • BaBar Note 545 Automatic Comparison of OPR Histograms.

  • Online documentation for the MSTORE system of archiving MSTORE.

  • Some links to older documentation and presentations providing background information on QA issues.

Release QA

  • For physics QA, see the QaBetaTools documentation.
  • Tables and plots of performance as a function of release can be found here.
  • Comparison plots as a function of release used by QA.
