13-14 October 1997: Online Farm workshop at Caltech

The tasks expected to be run on the Online Farm are divided into two online subsystems:

  • Online Event Processing
that portion of the data flow from the Event Builder through the Level 3 trigger and Fast Monitoring, but not including complete reconstruction; and
  • Prompt Reconstruction
that portion of the data flow from the Online Event Processing subsystem through complete reconstruction, constants generation, and logging.
  • This page will continue to be used for information regarding the common OEP/PR platform - the IR-2 UNIX farm - and common software which may be developed between the two subsystems.
