Future Developments

These are some features that have been requested that we feel can be implemented satisfactorily in the existing JAS architecture:

• Overlays of multiple 1D histograms or scalers, with independent formatting options for each. Histograms and scalers may come from multiple data sources. (contingent on XML functionality)

• Support for scalers comparable to that provided in BrowserApp (except for coloring of sample points based on measurement status codes).

• Support for reference histograms from one or more HBOOK files, though a DHP server which reads and servers the histograms.
