BaBar Operations Web Page

After logging into BBR-CON01 console with the account and password shown on the EPICS Display Binder, you should see the Alarm Handler and the BaBarMain Display. If these displays do not pop up, try typing "source ~/babar" at the command line. You can manually start Alarm Handler or BaBarMain using the following commands:

cd /nfs/bbr-srv01/u1/babar/boot/apps/cen-mon
source site/epicsSetup
cd ../all/alh
dm odc_main.dl &
alh &

The CMLOG button pops up the CMLOG application. Make sure to File|Connect and Options|Update the application. The BaBarMain display has the crate monitors under the MON button. The BIP button views injection status. The CRY button shows cryogenic and magnet status information. The GMS button links to the Gas Mixing Shack status screens. The PEP Stat button shows injection status. The ACC HER and ACC LER buttons bring up screens about the PEP rings.

Before printing any displays, make sure to select the proper printer by holding the right mouse button on a blank section of the display and selecting the "Select Printer" item on the menu.

Some buttons are able to do more than one task or call up more than one display. Hold the right mouse button down on the button to see a list of related tasks or displays.

NOTE: The displays are changing. The notebook will be updated routinely. Feel free to leave comments on a separate sheet. Please write the display name on the sheet.
