Below the tool bars there is a place for the browser bar. When you start the program no browser windows are open and the browser bar is just a blank strip. When you open browser window, a button is added to the browser bar with the icon and caption of the open browser. You can switch between browser windows simply clicking on the buttons in the browser bar. (Another way to switch between windows is with the "Windows" menu.)
