CfgExplorer browser area

Central part of the CfgExplorer window is occupied by browsers. When you start CfgExplorer, this area is empty. To open browser windows you should select specific type of the browser from the File menu or tool bar. CfgExplorer is an MDI application, that means that you can have as many open browser windows as you like. Browser windows are managed either through the Windows menu or using the window title bar buttons (these buttons are displayed in the main menu bar when browser window is maximized.)

All kinds of browsers have similar interface. Browser window is split into two panes. You can adjust size of the panes dragging the separator bar. Left pane displays tree-like structure of the selected view. Right pane shows the contents of the object selected in the left pane. You can perform various operations on the objects selected in left or right pane using context menu (shown after right-clicking mouse), Actions menu, or tool bar butons. Pressing <Enter> or double-clicking an item in the right pane will either "open" the item if this item is folder-like, or display its details in a separate window.
