Full Simulation of EMC in Bogus

  • Uses BgsEucIntfce.
  • BgsEucIntfce has been tested by a small program which reads thecall-list.dat file, and makes calls to BgsEucIntfce through the abstract interface EucIntfce with code such as

  GEANT->gsvolu (...

The result can be seen here (large postscript file of crystals).
 

  • Cannot be called directly until the gnemca code is fully converted to C++ (Gabriele does not want any Fortran in Bogus).  4 routines, 2 of them very long, need to be converted - timescale 2 weeks.
  • BgsEucIntfce needs development to avoid replicas - timescale 2 further weeks.
  • Needs PCON.
  • Can supply geometrical information to parametrised-shower simualtion (Marc Verderi).
