Pages are maintained by the Simulation Coordinator, Dennis Wright
(dwright@slac.stanford.edu), with contributions from many other BaBar collaborators.
BaBar collaborators are welcome to modify and/or add pages according to the template page located in
$BFROOT/www/Computing/Offline/Simulation/web/template.html.
The BaBar simulation web pages are maintained in raw HTML.
Do not edit these pages with WYSIWYG HTML editors
or any other editor that automatically modifies (i.e. corrupts) the HTML file.
Development tools which can be used include:
- Arachnophilia,
a good free ('careware') software for editing HTML files (Win9X/NT only).
- Microsoft Office web publishing tools for Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Microsoft FrontPage.
- Visio Technical,
an excellent diagramming package
- WS_FTP LE, a very good
free FTP utility for Win9X/NT.
