Simulation
Hypernews forums |
- Simulation
Design and Geant4 ("simu-design.html") is the main Simulation Hypernews
forum. In it we discuss the design and evolution of BaBar's simulation tools and also he
Geant4 Toolkit. Please note that all announcements of simulation meetings are posted to
this group.
- Bbsim
discussion ("bbsim-discuss.html") is the forum for discussing issues related
to gnbabar, bbsim, BbsimModule and beget.
- Detector
Response Simulation and Event Mixing ("DetSimu.html") is the forum for
discussing issues related to SimApp: detector response simulation, including L1 Trigger
simulation, GHit and digi mixing.
- Physics/Reconstruction/Simulation
("PRS.html") is the forum for discussing common
Physics/Reconstruction/Simulation issues.
- Event
Generators ("event_gen.html") forum is for discussing how to implement
decays of particles in the BaBar Monte Carlo. If you have questions about how to generate
Monte Carlo at the generator level you can them here.
- Simulation
Production ("simuprod.html") is a forum for discussing issues related to
Monte Carlo production and processing of the produced physics. Topics include production
infrastructure, jobs, book keeping, disk space, platforms, distribution etc.
- Software
Triggers and Trigger Software ("trigsoft.html") is a forum containing
postings relating to trigger simulation, reconstruction and online software.
- Background
Commissioning and Simulation ("BkgCom.html") is a forum for
discussions relevant to Background/PepII Commissioning issues, including background
detectors, analysis and simulation. This is intended as a *working* group area. It is not
intended to replace the larger distribution of bfmail's BKGCOMMISH group, but rather be a
means of faciliting communication and progress by a smaller group of dedicated background
people.
- Fast
Simulation ("fastsim.html") is a forum for discussion of Aslund including
bug reports, questions, comments, etc. Simulation design postings including issues for a
future replacement of Aslund, and all meeting announcements, should go to the Simulation
Design discussion (so please subscribe to that one as well).
