Session Summaries

Monday

Several documents and sets of slides are available:
  • Bob's slides of priorities, schedule&events, and how to stay informed.
  • A draft note on the organization of the reconstruction code, and accompanying slides. There is also a user guide of how the "Event" object stores data.
  • A new version of the software release tools user guide was distributed.

Other things that were discussed:

  • A very preliminary draft of Torre's documentation on dbio, how it fits in, and how it works
  • Fred's item in the discussion system about the various meanings of "GHit" and "Digi", and how we have to make that terminology more precise. See also his BaBar Note 260.

Tuesday

Several items were distributed:
  • Slides on the proposed design for the ReconstructedTrack class.
  • An early sample data definition file for dbio.
  • The code and header file for a simple module to print the number of GHits in an event. Note: this example is preliminary, and not yet fully functional. We hope to have it working soon, and will announce it on the RECOSOFT mailing list when you can get it from CVS.
