MC Production - SP8 Run Ranges
Validation And Test Ranges
- Always use the spbuild "-j valid" option at remote sites (optional for ProdTools V00-06-03 or later)
- When validating a release, always validate all months for which validation runs are listed
- If a release has validation runs for multiple views listed, always choose the latest view.
- Download snapshots from /nfs/objyserv01/objy/databases3/snapshots/forSP8/
- Default view is described in file snapshotSP8View in the snapshot directory
- Current snapshots :
- 20060411 contains snapshot with default view SP8::eighteenth
- 20060525 contains snapshot with default view SP8::nineteenth
- 20060715 contains snapshot with default view SP8::tventieth
- 20060914 contains snapshot with default view SP8::twentyfirst
- To compare your validation runs to SLAC
- copy them to $BFROOT/prod/log/validation/<site>
- (Space is limited, so please delete old files first!)
- cd $BFROOT/prod/log/validation
- In March 2007, simprq at SLAC (Intel, Tories) have been retired. Hence, starting
with 18.7.0m, SLAC has only AMD in V01 subdirectories:
- validate.csh <first run> <last run> slac 01 <site> <version> (for AMD)
