Abstract:

Objectivity is an object oriented database management system that will be used for storing the conditions information and the event store for the BaBar experiment. Objectivity version 4.0.2 is available at SLAC and LBL. This note explains how to add Objectivity to a users environment. Two vender supplied demonstration programs and a preliminary version of the conditions database program are also described.
