QUESTION:
Why must every user rebuild the database for every release?
ANSWER:
The mechanisms for stabilizing the schema and allowing users to exchange databases require functionality that is new in Objy V5. A significant fraction of the database group is devoting their energies to providing this capability. The expected
availability is in October 1998. We recognize that this is too late, but that's where we are folks.
