Communications Tools The collaboration uses a wide range of tools for communication and dissemination of information, including: meetings, telephones, email, net-news and World Wide Web (WWW). Information about all collaborators, including phone and fax numbers and preferred email address, is held on a central database which is itself accessible via the WWW. The web is widely used, both as a documentation archive and as a news system. Each of these areas is covered further below.
