Bookkeeping New Data
There are two sources of new data at the moment, Prompt
Reconstruction and the Conversion of old 12 series data.
Prompt Reconstruction Output
Information on the data from Prompt Reconstruction is being
collected on this
page.
Converted Dataset
For the converted data set you can get information being collected
on this
page. They are also accessible via SkimTools or the new Dataset
Bookkeeping.
SkimTools
You need to use SkimTools V00-04-08 (or probably later) with the
--table roo option. The conversion configurations used (which
have the release embedded) are;
[noric09] ~/reldirs/tst14.1.3b > skimDataRel --table roo
== NewKanga Group (New Kanga) ================================================
AllEvents : C14.1.3b-6 C14.1.3b-5 C14.1.3b-4 C14.1.3b-3 C14.1.3b-2 C14.1.3b-1 C14.1.3a-4 C14.1.3a-3 C14.1.3a-2 C14.1.3a-1 C14.1.3-4 C14.1.3-3 C14.1.3-2 C14.1.3-1 C14.1.2b-4 C14.1.2b-3 C14.1.2b-2 C14.1.2b-1
Use the --stream option to select a stream to get data for.
You can then get the tcl via;
[noric09] ~/reldirs/tst14.1.3b > skimDataRel --table roo -tcl -s AllEvents
skimDataRel: wrote AllEvents.tcl (263251474 events)
skimDataRel: Used 2407 of 2678 inputs (271 superceded)
skimDataRel: Selected 263251474 of 263251474 unique events (100.00%)
...
However, the data currently (28th November 2003) isn't in the final
location so the collections from skim data are not useful, the above
link does list the same collections (well, actually only the
14.1.3 and greater ones that are the most useful) via their temporary
production names.
New Dataset Bookkeeping
This data and the new skims will be available via the new
Bookkeeping system. You'll find an introduction to this here.
The latest tags are in 14.4.0a. Three datasets have been
defined so far;
[noric09] ~/reldirs/tst14.1.3b > BbkDatasetHistory --dbsite slac-old
BbkDatasetHistory: 3 datasets found:-
AllEventsRun3Conv
GridKa.32955-36172
Padova.36173-39320
The first of these contains all the converted data, while the other
two are used to divide the data for skimming in Padova and GridKa
(Karlsruhe). To generate a tcl file you would do use
BbkDatasetTcl and the dataset name you are interested in,
thus;
[noric09] ~/reldirs/tst14.1.3b > BbkDatasetTcl --dbsite slac-old AllEventsRun3Conv
Selected 1784 collections, 179061443/179061443 events, 12438.8/nb
You'll notice these collections have the same issue as those
generated with SkimTools. They also both currently create tcl files
which generate an incorrect mod talk line, you should change
it from Bdb or Roo to Kan.
