page to get lists of collections. The preferred (and only guarenteed) method
is to use the dataset bookkeeping.

Skim test dataset 040224sk
About 10 fb-1 sample of skimmed and merged data

Converted Run1-Run3 data
You can use BbkDatasetTcl to obtain tcl files for
the converted runs. See also the general bookkeeping documentation. The dataset names you should use are "AllEventsRun1", "AllEventsRun2"and "AllEventsRun3". (This dataset naming convention may be updated after
an official naming scheme is discussed at the bookkeeping workshop on
17-18Feb, 2004, but for now they will work.)
NOTE WELL that the data
has not been blessed by data quality group, so actual analysis should
not be done on it.
Converted/merged SP generic and signal data 040219sp
Some converted+merged SP5 MC. Conversion was done with release 14.3.1a.
Monte Carlo request mode numbers are embedded in the collection name. Eg
the mode number for /store/SP/R12/003058/200104/12.5.2a/SP_003058_002337 is
3058.

Skim test dataset 040219sk (deprecated recipe)
1.5 fb-1 sample of skimmed and merged Run1 data (note: collections have on and off res. runs)

Some converted SP5 MC. Conversion was done with release 14.2.0b. These
merged collections the /store/SPruns collections of the now deprecated "SP5
conversion dataset 031206sp" below.
Skim test dataset 040201sk (deprecated recipe)
Small sample of skimmed Run1 data (skimming done with 14.2.1c and/or
14.2.1d) and merged with the equivalent of 14.3.1 (nightly-Saturday/040131)
plus KanEvent V00-00-03.
Converted Run1-Run3 data (deprecated recipe)
There is now a BbkDatasetTcl recipe for getting tcl files for the
full set of converted runs. NOTE WELL that the data
has not been blessed by data quality group, so actual analysis should
not be done on it. (This recipe is deprecated, see above
for more recent pointers to documentation on obtaining tcl lists for this
data.)
SP5 conversion dataset 031206sp (deprecated)
This dataset includes a number of SP5 signal and generic collections
converted with 14.2.0b. In addition, some of them have been skimmed.
Important note about the skimmed collected. SkimMC was NOT yet, so
there will be no MC truth information in these. Set your patch
to "Run2" instead of "MC" to avoid crashes. Sorry for the mistake.

This dataset supercedes "data1". The collection names are still "temporary",
we are working on solving that problem and when we finish that, clear HN
signals will be posted and this page updated. In the meantime, you can use
the collections as-is. (There is one small caveat related to keeping any skim
output you make in the long term, see this HN, but please do
try to skim this data as part of validation!)

Conversion dataset data1 (deprecated)
This "dataset" includes all data converted with 14.1.3, 14.1.3a and 14.1.3b.
It supercedes (and includes) the dataset "031119dat" below. Each of the lists
in this dataset should be mutually exclusive (i.e. no overlapping runs).
(The number to the right of each collection in the lists is the number of
events in that collection.)
Due to some
temporary bookkeeping problems and some (now mostly resolved) problems with
xrootd, these are temporary collection names. We hope to sort this
out during the week of 1-5 December, at which point lists of the
official collection names will be provided. (Update 031211: we are
still working on this, the collaboration meeting slows things down.)

Conversion dataset 031028td (deprecated)
This conversion data set is based on 14.1.0 plus a few small fixes (including
in particular PidDataK V00-05-04). I did the same set of collections twice,
once with data12boot conditions ("old"), once with the new dE/dx constants from
Tulay's FDB (/nfs/objyserv07/objy/databases/user1/tulay/8191/BaBar.BOOT,
"new"). I've grouped the collections by Dch voltage (1900V, 1960V, 1930V) inside the files below.

This conversion data set is based on 14.0.4-kan-4 plus a few tags which quash
a few small bugs.

This conversion data set is based on 14.0.4-kan-3 and includes the header
fixes from Matthias, Emc fixes
from Dave and John Back, physics updates from Giuseppe and an IfrKalman fix
from DavidL.
