Computer terminals for the workshop visitors can be found in the Information Technology Services Lab (ITS Lab) on the second floor of Steele Laboratory (building 81, see map below). Fifteen terminals have been designated for BaBar use, some of them are Macintosh and some Intel PC. These terminals are identified with an "HEP" label. For laptop users, there are also three network connections with designated IP addresses available. The ITS Lab is open Monday-Friday with extended hours until 10pm on the days of the workshop.
Some name server problems exist within the Caltech network at the moment, so you may need to use the numerical IP address of a site to connect to it.
