Archived User Web Pages
Users are most strongly encouraged to place any web material (html files, pdf,
PostScript, PowerPoint, text, graphics, etc.) on the BaBar web proper (under
$BFROOT/www/) if this material is used by more than one person in
BaBar, rather than in public_html web space at SLAC. Then, when the user leaves,
the material will not disappear from the web when the user's account is closed.
This should be the normal working paradigm for web documents used by BaBar.
However, if requested, we will copy a user's public_html directory tree to
these archives to make them easier to find after the user's account has been
terminated. They may be found here:

Archived BaBar Web pages
Out-of-date BaBar web pages are to be stored in appropriate subdirectories within this area - i.e. $BFROOT/old-www/. It is laid out just like $BFROOT/www/ with the main subdirectories being:
- $BFROOT/old-www/Organization/
- $BFROOT/old-www/Detector/
- $BFROOT/old-www/Computing/
- $BFROOT/old-www/Physics/
This area of the web will grow and its structure will become more wel-defined as time goes on.
